Enjoy and experience a New Zealand bone carving studio in Raglan. Create your own treasure and take home newly gained skills. Students will learn bone carving and cord making in this safe, hands on environment. The meanings of various designs will also be reviewed. At the end of the day the students get to take home their special bone carved necklace. The tutor, Rangi Wills has been a Maori Master Bone Carver for over 22 years. Rangi’s work sells in various galleries including Te Papa and Auckland War Memorial Museums. No experience necessary, supplies and materials provided.
