Get up and close and discover the magic of paddling through the Raglan estuary. Enjoy our beautiful environment as well as learning new skills and expanding knowledge on estuaries and marine ecosystems. The students start with an introduction to kayaking, which includes kayak safety, skills, equipment and environmental factors. Once on the water groups will learn how estuaries are formed, estuarine ecosystems and habitat, why estuaries are valuable and how we can protect them. This tour is great for all age groups and can be booked as a unit or as part of the ‘Become a Raglan Eel’ tour.
